It’s official! The Foundation for Veterinary Aid International is now known as and registered as a charity with the Canadian Revenue Service.
This status has encouraged us to continue our efforts to change the world in helping one animal at a time, one human and finally an entire community! Each small gesture counts, since its inception, FVAI has helped over 1000 cats and dogs at no cost. FVAI’s projects have also allowed many veterinary and animal health technician students to acquire knowledge, and develop their autonomy, initiative, creativity and capacity to adapt to a working environment which is very different from everyday life in Quebec.
Helping, teamwork, giving and receiving, this is what FVAI is all about!
Obtaining charity status is a milestone for FVAI, because we may now issue tax receipts to our donors. Your donations will help us continue our mission to provide veterinary care free of charge to more and more animals (Yes, FVAI is a victim of its popularity!), and to reduce the sign-up costs, allowing more and more people to take part in our projects.
It is well known that health professionals are people of action, dedicated, dynamic and generous with their time. FVAI’s mission calls to them, many of them would like to live an exceptional professional experience, and FVAI needs their help!
In 2016, FVAI will be returning to Belize, Botswana, Galapagos Islands, and Baja California. We estimate that with 1000 people giving $5.00 a month, it would be possible to completely finance these projects and allow more people to experience a trip with FVAI.
It is so easy! One simple click is all that is needed to donate! Transactions on this site are 100% secure. A receipt for income tax purposes will be issued.
Thank you for your help in the development of FVAI, the first entirely Quebec based foundation dedicated to helping animals in foreign countries.
